As the head of design said, Laura Ashley is working towards a clean, comfortable and yet modern design. They also have been going for rich colors, as the designers described as the "technicolor world." It really looks like the company is going for a much richer colorset in their 2010 line. They look to be deemphasizing the floral prints and pushing for a richer color palette.
One of the most exciting introductions in my mind is the soft purples seen in the Laura Ashley lines. I haven't seen a bedding set that features this coloring, but wow, it looks great on the furniture. I never was a fan of purple in home decor, but Laura Ashley is quickly changing my mind with these designs.
